(Now this program has become <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mygreatlearning.com\/pg-program-data-science-course\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Data Science Course with Gen AI<\/a> program)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"tell-us-about-your-professional-background-and-work-experience\"><strong>Tell us about your professional background and work experience?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I am a Computer Science graduate who was working in Godrej and Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. as Assistant Manager in the E-Commerce Team. While working on various projects during my tenure, I was always fascinated with projects related to Analytics and hence, I decided to upgrade my skill set in the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"why-great-learning\"><strong>Why <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Great Learning (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mygreatlearning.com\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\">Great Learning<\/a>?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I was exploring various institutes to pursue a Data Science course. After comparison, I found that the curriculum which GL follows is comprehensive and will help me in my career transition. I felt that GL would help me begin my journey towards <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mygreatlearning.com\/blog\/what-is-data-science\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Data Science (opens in a new tab)\">Data Science<\/a>. Another advantage was that the duration of the course was short compared to other institutions who were teaching similar course content in almost double the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-did-you-feel-about-the-pgp-dse-program\"><strong>How did you feel about the PGP DSE program?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I decided to join the July\u201919 batch \u2013 after 2 years of professional experience. The faculty for the program were industry experts who had deep knowledge in their respective domains. This enabled us to get our doubts cleared with ease. The content provided was quite rigorous, due to which, I had to push my limits while solving assignments. But once that was done, I felt confident and was ready for the upcoming challenges.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every 3rd week we had midterm exams based on the topics studied in the last 2 weeks. This helped me keep a grip on the old topics. About a week after completing the program, I got a call from Analytics Quotient where I was shortlisted for a Business Analyst role. I had started applying to companies a month before completing the program to gain experience and get an idea about the interview process. Clearing the interview was a cake-walk \u2013 since, at Great Learning, we had mock interviews with the industry experts who gave proper feedback in the topics which had scope for improvement. My career preparation mentor helped me in preparing my resume and provided solutions to all my queries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"any-advice-to-aspiring-transition-seekers\"><strong>Any advice to aspiring transition seekers?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>When you decide to make a shift into Analytics, you need to believe in yourself and be confident in your decision.
