Upskilling in Data Science and Business Analytics can prove to be extremely beneficial. Read further to learn more about Rohit Dwivedi's journey with Great Learning\u2019s PGP Data Science and Business Analytics Course<\/a> in his own words.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I've an experience of close to 7 years working in the SAP manufacturing domain. I held a bachelors' degree in Electronics & Communication prior to joining Great Learning PGP in DSBA. I had mostly worked on solution creation\/designing using SAP methodologies for different CPG clients. My core job was to provide solution consulting to manufacturing firms for the European Union. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biggest challenge before joining this course, was to manage my time and continue ample learning with substantial practice. The challenge made me feel confined in my zone of work only. I could hear success stories of Data Science aspirants as well the relevance in today's context but, could not match mine to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I decided to choose Great Learning as I had heard about the style of teaching from some of my friends. The best part was getting to practice much & match technical knowhow with real time applications<\/strong>. I was involved in Online learning in my organization and hence, was not much skeptical about this mode of learning. Only thing was to match the content quality with the skill building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mentoring sessions were a good chance to get my doubts clarified. In case , there were some concepts which were unclear during the video lecture viewing, the mentored session helped to grasp those easily with practical examples. I feel my mentors were really good based on the pace of teaching, doubt solving & interaction in general. My mentor, Mr. Saurav Sindhwani has been a great support in my entire journey at Great Learning. I have learnt various techniques in addition to what is given in the courses courtesy, Saurav. I am thankful for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After learning the newly acquired skill set, I can visualize data, derive patterns & meaningful information. I can easily give recommendations to improve the business performance based on history data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My advice - be as open as possible. Do not stereotype the data set just because you know the industry. Each set is different & may contain different insights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am thankful to my program manager for smooth onboarding and help during my course journey. For any hiccups, she was there to provide an astute solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
