I am Deepak, an ardent learner and a Mechanical Engineer by degree, Data Scientist by profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A brother of mine introduced me to Great Learning. That was how I became aware of this program. Before my PGP program, I was actually clueless as to where my life was headed. I was not very happy to have been part of my engineering degree. I had no idea about programming or even the basic concepts related to AI\/ML before my PGP program. It gave me the want to learn more and more about this field to keep me on par with my peers. I still am learning and will continue to do so all my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been able to apply what I have learned from this program to my work. My current workplace deals with some of the features of OCR. Image classifier concepts that I learned from my PGP course stood as a huge reference point. Almost all the models that we create require data gathering and cleaning, and to do that to its fullest, I need to analyze and understand the type of data I have in hand. Every time, we derive various kinds of analytics. So far, these analytics have helped us to produce more accurate and trustworthy decision-making models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I keep learning new things every day at work. This, in turn, helps me do the work I do much faster compared to my pace at the initial stages. Considering this fact, I am still at very early stages in my career. My team does recognize me and treats me as a valuable asset.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
