About this course

There is a need for an organised data handling mechanism in any industry today. There are various types of databases available in the industry for this purpose. But before moving to any of these various specialized database, it is recommended to start from the base and first understand about the Relational DBMS. In this course we will be looking into the concepts and differences between databases, DBMSs and File systems and understanding different keys and normalization concepts in RDBMS. We'll touch upon the various types of DBMSs in the industry. We'll look at the type of commands in SQL along with the filters and operators that can be used to refine these database commands. We'll also be diving into and understanding various joins and Subqueries and how they can be implemented in SQL. All the SQL Demonstrations in this course will be carried out on The MySQL Workplace.
