SAP Controlling CO Fundamentals
SAP CO training introduces the link between business spending and cost center plans. Join this free SAP Controlling course to follow costs into period-end reports and understand why actual results may differ from a budget.
About this course
In this free SAP Controlling course, you follow how a business records costs and uses them to understand performance. You begin by separating Controlling from Financial Accounting, then connect organizational structure to master data. SAP Controlling training introduces cost elements and cost centers so you can see how spending is assigned, planned, and compared with expectations. A basic understanding of accounting is helpful; previous SAP experience is not assumed.
Internal orders and product costing give you different ways to track a project's overhead or a product's estimated cost. You then examine profit centers and profitability analysis to understand how reporting changes with the business question. Period-end lessons connect these ideas to reconciliation and links with purchasing and sales. The course helps you read SAP CO concepts with more confidence before further system practice, without promising SAP system access or professional qualification.
