I completed my M.E. in Mechanical Engineering in 2015 and have been part of Engineering Services in Infosys. With the mix and match of Coding along with Engineering applications, I developed an interest in upskilling in Latest Technologies. I have been working as a Developer in Support of Engineering Applications.
With an interest in AIML, I had been upskilling by self-learning. However, it was challenging to obtain an opportunity to work on the same due to a lack of experience in the field. So, I was looking for a platform where I could learn and also have hands-on experience. Great Learning’s PGP AIML has offered a wonderful learning experience so far, with the modules designed not only to understand the concepts but also to drive us to perform a bit of research in order to successfully complete the assignments.Â
The quality of mentored learning sessions was good. The Mentored Sessions always included additional knowledge and Mentor’s professional experiences. These sessions helped in understanding the real-time scenarios as mentors shared use-cases as well. The mentors have helped me to stay on track with respect to learning. Mentors responded swiftly to any queries from any of the learning peers. Support from Mentors & Program Managers has motivated me to learn more and stay focused.
Through the newly learned skill sets, I have gained exposure to various concepts and implementations in AI ML. I am eagerly looking forward to implementing the same in my professional career. Hoping to kick-start my journey in analytics with the knowledge I have gained.
The advice to the new aspirants would be that Learning is a never-ending journey, and there is an abundance of information in the field of analytics. It is very important to understand the concepts. Sometimes small and focused steps can also be the path to reach the goal. Patience is a virtue.
