I have been working in the IT industry with an overall experience of 6 years in the Software Testing domain.
After having worked in a technical domain, I was looking for a change into a managerial and technical role which would be more in Analytics that would be apt for the exposure obtained, and that’s when I came across the DSBA Program offered by Great Learning which had the right blend of courses needed for my switch.
The entire course has been a great journey with a lot of new learning and hard work. Since I am a working professional, it was quite a task trying to strike a balance between work and the curriculum. The weekly assessments gave us a good hold of the subjects.
My family did play a huge role in helping me pass the course with flying colors.
The mentor session has been of great importance in making the concepts easier. My mentor Mr. Rakesh Ambudkar was very helpful and was always around to clear our doubts.
After a year, when I look back, I feel the decision taken was totally worth it, and I am very glad about the upskilling. Since it’s been a few weeks since my course, I’m really looking forward to moving to the analytics domain soon.
