INDRAMANI SHUKLA

Hi, I am Indramani Shukla. Thank you for letting me share my success story of Data Science at Work. I will keep it short and brief informing you how this PGPDSBA Online course has helped me a lot in achieving my goals and giving productive results to the organization in which I am working. I am working with “LEHJRO” as Assistant Vice President – Technology. I completed this course in the month of July 2022.

I always felt the urge to know the business in a broader way and wanted to understand the dynamics of it, so instead of sitting back and only playing around with some existing tools I wanted to contribute more to my organization as a frontline resource and tried adding more values. One of my favourite modules was Machine Learning and it has helped me a lot in creating a replica web app of “Regex101.com”. I am attaching the link to my post on LinkedIn where you can find it:

This course has helped me in bringing up more options in creating applications for the organization in order to reduce the output time that is done manually. Soon I will be introducing an application for my organization that will reduce the tedious, hectic, error-prone work. That is why I wanted to apply Data Science to this.

I wanted to automate this tedious manual effort by implementing Data Mining Classification Model (CART or RF), where I have worked on some gathered data based on a few independent variables, likewise, as mentioned below:

Ø  Client’s response rate in the past for a particular approach

Ø  Required infrastructure that they need to match with our offerings

Ø  Revenue & cost report for past few years

Ø  Volumetric Report

Ø  Trend Analysis

Eventually, my intention was to evaluate the target or dependent variable in this form of data as in “the potential customer.”

Efficiency & Impact:

After this, when the tool will be developed, the manual effort is drastically reduced by 50% from the previous database and moreover, it is much more profound now. It can generate analysis reports based on data screening and processing for a few minutes with immense visibility. It has increased the output quality by decreasing the timeline by 40%. I really thank the Great Learning team for supporting me throughout the journey.
