I am Sakshi Jain from Delhi, and I work as a Software Developer in the Banking domain. I was working on client requests and developed models for the banking product. I was also a part of the release team for the product prior to joining this program.
I always wondered what’s next in line for me in this IT industry. The job profile had no more challenges, and the work had become monotonous. This made me research the options available in the market and the ones which had a growth in the future.
I chose Great learning because when I visited their website, read through student blogs, and watched videos. I came across a great platform to learn and upskill myself. The courses offered were very detailed and guided the students well in their prospects. I also interacted with a few previous students from LinkedIn, and their feedback also made me confident in choosing Great learning for my further studies. I did not have any apprehensions, as, by this time, I had done some courses online, so this was not something new to me, and I was ready to adapt according to the AIML curriculum that would be offered.
The mentor sessions helped me clear my doubts from the course more like in a one-one session, where I can ask more openly and get guided with full attention. And maybe ask again if the topic is not clear to me. The quality of mentored learning sessions was good. All the mentors who were assigned to me had great knowledge and were well experienced in this field. They used to make us aware of the real-time problems in the current market and how our knowledge of the course can be applied. They also used to share their experiences about their growth in this field.
My mentor was very supportive throughout the course. He helped us understand the concepts well, demonstrated the coding of the problem statements, and helped us to clear all our queries and concerns.
I would like to say that start afresh. Don’t get worried if you are new to it. The course modules have been defined in such a manner that they start from basics and then go in-depth. The mentor sessions are very helpful. All you need to do is to ensure that you utilize them to the best.
