Can you tell us about your background and work experience?
I have 25 years of experience in the banking industry, 10 years of experience at a software company, and 5 years as a domain consultant. I am currently working as a banking domain consultant for ML Initiatives and was previously the Vice President at Laser Soft Infosystems Ltd.
Describe your journey with Great Learning’s PGP AIML course.
My journey with Great Learning was wonderful. I gained ample knowledge about various topics. By the end of the course, I was able to apply Python skills to perform Data Analysis. We were taught Python libraries and its functionality, which proved to be very helpful to me.
The support provided by the mentors and course coordinators was exceptional. We were shown video lectures and given projects to complete, both of which gave great insight and a better understanding. I’m a proud Great Learner!
What are your future career goals?
Currently, I am working as a Domain Consultant, but with knowledge about Python, it’ll become easier for me to discuss technical aspects at work. Interacting with professionals and the IT team at banks becomes simpler since it involves dealing with both functional as well as technical professionals. I would love to identify and actively be involved in Machine Learning projects for banks. It would be great to have an opportunity to become a Machine Learning consultant internationally.
