One of the data science projects I'm particularly proud of involved developing a predictive maintenance model for industrial equipment. I chose LSTM networks due to their ability to handle sequential data effectively. The model was then deployed using Flask for a simple web interface, allowing operators to visualize predictions in real-time. I also implemented a feedback loop where new data would continuously refine the model, ensuring it stayed accurate over time. The project successfully reduced unplanned downtime by over 30%, resulting in significant cost savings for the company. The hands-on nature of the project, from data acquisition to deployment, made it a particularly rewarding experience.
