I am Aqeel Abdul Kareem, Deputy IT Manager in Kuwait for Lulu Group international. I am B-Tech Graduate in Computer Science and Engineering, and I have technical knowledge and worked as a Systems and Network Administrator in the same company.
I provided an in-depth overview of where the present business lacks and where we can improve on both offline and online retail chains. Moreover, I was able to provide Recommendation Systems on an online platform.
As we are in retail chain hypermarkets, the overview was minimal, and with profiling and adding sales prospects as upselling/cross-selling, with the help of the Recommendation Systems Model, the sales were on the expected growth rate, and the products were not reaching customers.
A non-personalized model has been implemented, building a personalized model for a better reach. The result was better customer profiling and a collaborative and content-based model in the online platform. I was able to see the results in sales growth. Now, I believe I can provide more input to higher management to improve sales.
In Great Learning. The mentoring sessions were efficient and understandable, which I can relate to my current job role. With the help of learning materials and video content, I could brush up on my engineering modules effectively.
