I work in Standard Chartered Global Business Services as Associate Manager, Bangalore with the overall experience of 11 years at Banking Operations. Before I joined the Post Graduate Program in Data Science and Business Analytics, I was part of Banking Operations at SCGBS. I always felt a major challenge Data Analysing, which propelled me to take up the course.
In addition to this, I used to feel that self-learning is the biggest challenge due to the online mode, but in Great Learning, the regular sessions with proper guidance and mentorship helped me to complete the course successfully. I had a fulfilling journey in Great Learning. As I’m now trying for a transition in profile, this has added more than expected value on my profile for a better transition.
Without the mentor’s session, it would have been harder for a better understanding with just the videos. Mentors have really helped to clear our doubts and guided us on the right path. As a result, I have gained confidence in data analysis.
For all those looking to make a career switch to this field: Analytics is such an interesting profile, it keeps the mind active, putting in the right rule at the right place. Transitioning into such a profile would surely render greater growth in my career.
