Financial Risk Analytics

The financial service industry is experiencing significant changes. This change is coming with the increased use of data and information technology. Data today has become crucial for driving business decisions and managing risk. Financial Risk Analytics provides solutions to financial institutions and fintech organisations. Risk analytics and management helps businesses measure and manage credit risk, market risk, derivative valuation adjustments, and regulatory risk capital. Latest analytics technologies such as big data and machine learning are being implemented by banks and niche firms alike.

Regulatory and compliance pressures that banks and insurance companies face make them rethink their business strategy and achieve better visibility into their data sets. Tackling data silos and enterprise-wide adoption of financial risk analytics solutions leverage the power of data modelling and predictive analytics. Streamlining reporting and capital management processes are not the only applications of predictive analytics. These applications also extend to enabling organizations to step up a level by eliminating various risks and non-compliance.

Risk analytics has been under the spotlight because of the increasing demand for analytics in the finance sector. As per studies, the global risk analytics market is expected to reach USD 50 Billion by the year 2020. The increasing need for companies to minimise their losses incurred due to risks and maximise ROI is driving the significant growth in risk analytics.

With this growth, the need for talented financial risk analysts is also on the rise. Because of the existing shortage of the talent pool in the analytics industry, the demand for Risk Analytics Professionals is extremely high. This demand and availability gap converts into huge salary packages for risk analytics professionals.
