- Module 2: Data, Analytics, and Decision Science covers enterprise data architecture and governance, cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity, analytics, and executive data storytelling.
- Module 3: Machine Learning for Competitive Advantage focuses on forecasting, classification, risk modelling, model interpretation, and responsible AI decision-making.
- Module 4: Generative AI and Intelligent Automation examines Large Language Models, prompt engineering, conversational AI, intelligent automation, and responsible Generative AI practices.
- Module 5: Agentic AI introduces autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, agent orchestration, enterprise use cases, and governance mechanisms.
- Module 6: Leading, Governing, and Scaling AI focuses on AI strategy, organisational readiness, responsible AI governance, and building AI-ready organisations.
Towards the end of the programme, learners choose an industry specialisation track in Financial Services and FinTech, Supply Chain/Operations, Digital Marketing and MarTech, or Technology Leadership, before applying their learning through a domain-specific Capstone Project focused on solving real-world business challenges.
How Is the Programme Delivered?
The programme is delivered in a blended format combining SPJIMR-led live sessions, self-paced learning, and a four-day on-campus immersion at SPJIMR, Mumbai. It requires approximately 5 to 7 hours of effort per week.
Learners engage with SPJIMR faculty through academic sessions and learn from senior business leaders through executive masterclasses. Guided demonstrations provide exposure to tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Google AI Studio, and NotebookLM. They also receive personalised assistance from a dedicated Programme Manager throughout the programme.
During the campus immersion, learners engage directly with faculty and take part in peer-led discussions. They present and refine their Capstone Projects with guidance from faculty mentors and industry practitioners, and interact with senior industry leaders and executives.
Who Will Teach You in the Programme?
The programme is led by SPJIMR faculty Prof. Debmallya Chatterjee, Professor in Operations, Supply Chain Management and Quantitative Methods, and Prof. Ashish Desai, Associate Professor in Information Management and Analytics.
Prof. Debmallya Chatterjee has over two decades of academic experience in teaching, training, and research.
He has trained MBA students and corporate professionals through Management Development Programmes across sectors including manufacturing, automobiles, renewable energy, consultancy, and pharmaceuticals. He holds a Ph.D. from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad.
Prof. Ashish Desai brings over 27 years of experience building technology-driven financial services businesses across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. His experience spans entrepreneurship, industry, and policy-making, including serving as Director of Monitoring and Evaluation at DMEO, NITI Aayog.
He has worked with organisations including Jumo, Aditya Birla Group, Motorola, FirstRand Bank, and Comviva, and holds a Ph.D. from IIM Kozhikode.
