Batch of August 2023 | Singapore
I have enjoyed all the modules. I haven't been introduced to most of the topics earlier so there was steep learning curve to get use to. ,Identifying the stakeholders for the success of the project/task. It was interesting as I was introduced to the adversaries group and importantly not to spend much energy in convincing them. Yes, I would like to take up the refresher course and advance course for the advancement of the skills learnt and applied. Yes, it does. Though real outcomes would take a bit of time but I now know the tools and topics available to look at things bit more holistically.

The elements I enjoyed most are the learning contents and interactive learning sessions through peer interaction. The program has helped me strategize my approach to human assets development where we have a system in the organization which identifies and promotes leaders internally. I would recommend this program to anyone who wishes to learn and take the driving seat in their career. My advice or guidelines for those considering the program; please attend the interactive peer sessions, be present, and have an open mind to learning so that you have the tools to identify your path to leadership.

It was a good peer discussion. It is our 2nd time to be together. And somehow, there is a level of improvement in discussing as a group. We were able to share our perceptions and experiences on the topics discussed. I look forward to a more engaging discussion where we can learn from one another.

First of all, I love all modules, but my favorite ones are Influence and Persuasion, as well as Managing Stakeholders. I am now aware of how important it is to be conscious of how we conduct ourselves in a corporate settings. Influence and persuasion are essential in the corporate world as they enable you to effectively communicate and convince others, fostering collaboration and inspiring action. Managing stakeholders is equally crucial, as it involves understanding and aligning the needs and expectations of various parties, leading to better project outcomes and a harmonious work environment. Both skills are key in navigating workplace dynamics, building professional relationships, and achieving organizational goals.,Absolutely. By understanding my strengths and areas for improvement, I can think strategically and make informed decisions. The best part is that I now have guidelines on how to be an effective leader, including essential characteristics.Recognizing one's strengths and weaknesses enables more strategic thinking and better decision-making. I feel much better.

Batch of December 2021 | Global Key Account Management Director, E-Commerce at CEVA Logistics | Singapore
In this program, I learned how to identify and evaluate People Management and Self Development skills from the lens of people and employee behavior and interaction. I was introduced to frameworks & toolkits and got hands-on practice in applying them to real-world situations. The assignments and activities ensure a first-hand experience of the impact of the concepts being discussed and will help translate them into tangible skills focused on professional growth. Nowadays, the ability to manage and influence various people you work with lies at the heart of successful leadership. These are also the most valued skills employers look for when hiring or promoting people into leadership positions. Having the skills needed to deal with tough challenges can accelerate my career and help me create an enjoyable working environment for my teams.

Batch of December 2021 | Vice president for Corporate Concerns at Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) | Philippines
My main motivations in taking the FLP are to affirm what I have learned about leadership, discard lessons that are no longer relevant or are already outdated, and learn new insights, tools, and practices in leadership. Going through the FLP was one of the most exciting learning journeys I have ever done. The program is arranged such that one can track progress in becoming a better version of oneself, i.e., as a person and as a leader. The lectures are concise and structured so that they give me "nourishment" rather than a deluge of concepts, ideas, and techniques. The group discussions and projects aid in the learning process, especially in the practical application of tools and concepts. The learning platform is world-class yet easy to use and navigate. As someone who performs a leadership role in our organization, I have started integrating the lessons learned in my various transactions. I gain more confidence, and I look forward to coaching our emerging leaders in the organization. The program is highly recommended for both managers and leaders who are "beginners" or "advanced" in terms of experience. This is the kind of program I should have taken when I was new to the organization. It exceeded my expectations.
