Prof. Daniel Byrne

Faculty Member, Whiting School of Engineering, Johns Hopkins University

Prof. Daniel Byrne is an award-winning author, teacher and faculty member at Johns Hopkins University’s Whiting School of Engineering and the Department of Biostatistics at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. With 40+ years of experience in AI and predictive modeling for healthcare, his work focuses on improving patient outcomes through AI-driven solutions. He has published over 165 scientific papers and authored two books. He holds a Bachelor's in Biology and Computer Science from the University at Albany (SUNY) and a Master’s in Biostatistics from New York Medical College.

Dr. Ian McCulloh

Faculty - Public Health and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University

Dr. Ian McCulloh holds joint faculty appointments in Public Health and Engineering and is also aManager of Artificial Intelligence Continuing and Executive Education. His research focuses on strategic influence in online networks and the cognitive dimension of the information environment. He earlier served as Chief Data Scientist & Managing Director of AI at Accenture Federal Services and retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years in special ops and C-IED forensics. He holds a Ph.D., three Master’s degrees, and has authored several significant publications.
