They promote excellent performance from employees, thereby lowering the overall costs of items used in projects. A Supply Chain Manager can also be referred to as the contact point for external companies to connect with to place large orders or purchases. They have to ensure fair prices and deals and, wherever possible, negotiate with company representatives. This helps to ensure that the parent company is receiving the best possible price and deals.
