I am not an expert in computer science and the deep technological applications of computers, but the expertise Mr. Sankaran showed with AI/ML application in the real world helped to understand the utility and constraints of AI/ML applications in business.

I thought the lecture from Harish was very good. The explanation of course logistics and schedule by the program manager felt hurried and could have been a lot better. It would have been better to see an example of the work that is due when, etc.

Excellent Dr Sunil. One use case i can think of in my field is using drones to capture images of corrosion of tubes etc in hazardous areas of refinery, petrochemicals, offshore platform and using CNN to analyze.

The audio quality was much better. Mukesh also slowed down the pace of teaching, which gave a much better understanding. Appreciate very much for listening to the concerns and made improvements accordingly.

Attending the class yesterday, I felt that there should be a section or two in the course that just focuses on how to ask the right questions, evaluate the findings, and question how the team arrived at certain conclusions. The interpretation of the findings by a business leader is extremely important and depending on the approach used, how does a business leader who does not have a Ph.D. in statistics evaluate the model, its fit, and ultimately the predictions?

Dr. Vuppala had very current knowledge of the DS and AI landscape. It was great to see some relevant point of views on Covid as well. Many reference articles shared in the past by other speakers and in the course material have been from 2017 which should ideally not be referenced any more since the landscape is changing so frequently.

Batch of October 2020 | Sr Advisor, Program/Project Management Federal Services at Dell Technologies | United States
I like the technical detail that you have, but I would like more of a focus on business value. For example, you went through S1 and S2 (something about Jack and a car), but then I would like you to tie those kinds of technical discussions with examples of what I, as a leader, would use that information for. It seems like I'm being taught the high-level technical details like I am about to write the Python code for NLP, but I don't want that. I want to know now that I know the high-level technical details, how would I apply what you just taught in business?

Batch of December 2020 | Contact Representative at U.S. Department Of Veterans Affairs Full Time | United States
All the above points were well presented. Also, this the instructor taught by demonstrating the examples which was easier for me than just reading from the power point. The instructor is also very good at explanation and also understanding students' questions. However, it seems like the group is too big, and also only a handful of students were able to interact or ask questions.

The program is a great eye opener to the trend of things in the world of technology, the incubation of new ideas, new models, and a lot of technological proposed-solutions that one can leverage upon. Yes, the basis are known now, the advancement of the learning is key, and it's the next thing.
