Why did you choose to upskill? Why Great Learning?
I was aware of the fact that Great Learning provides the best Analytics courses. It was evident once I joined in. Day in Day out we had lectures accompanied by in-class assignments which help give detailed understanding about the subject. The take-home assignments were like the practice session for the revision of our concepts. The assignments given make sure that you are crystal clear in what you do. Assignments were designed in such a manner that would keep us continuously focused on what we are learning.

How did you feel about the mentorship sessions and faculty at Great Learning?
The faculty at Great Learning are industry experienced and have abundant knowledge. Each faculty made sure to give proper attention to every student in the class. The knowledge and the skills that I acquired during my journey in GL is beyond measures. I would especially like to thank Mr. Sayan Dey and Mr. Abhishek Kalbande for being the guiding force.
In addition to the practice session, we had Mid and Final Exam at equal intervals to help us keep on our toes. If this was not enough we had a revision session covering all our doubts. GL also made sure we are up-to-date with what is going on in the industry by giving us access to recent trends and technology articles at the end of every week.
Was the PGP- DSE program helpful in your journey?
Great Learning’s PGP-DSE is a great program for young data science enthusiasts. It covers a variety of tools like Python, SQL, and Tableau. PGP DSE helped me enrich my knowledge with machine learning concepts in addition to providing hands-on practice which helped me in clearing all my doubts.
What did you think about the career support provided by GL?
In addition to academics, even our personality development was given importance in the DSE course. We had career prep workshops after every two weeks which helped cultivate our soft skills. I would like to thank Ms. Varsha Pai of the Career Preparation Team for being patient, pushing me towards challenges, and believing in me throughout my journey. I thank GL for all the support and encouragement.
