Problem Statement

Owing to the pandemic, most of our workspaces shifted to the digital world, which allowed us the privilege to work conveniently and comfortably from remote locations. But have you ever felt overwhelmed by too many meetings and weak productivity at work? Well, we, too, have been there, done that.

Handling office work digitally is layered with abundant challenges that industries are yet to overcome. everything

Incompetent management of meetings, agendas, and tasks hamper employee productivity daily, adversely affecting organisational targets.

Even though many applications offer various tools to manage work digitally, an effective and cost-friendly one-stop solution is still lacking in the market.

Solution

Considering these challenges and market insights, learners of the PG Program in Product Management and Analytics developed a product model to optimise meetings, enhance employee productivity, and boost outcomes.  As a part of the product development process, the team applied several thoroughly-researched frameworks and business models such as SWOT analysis, PESTLE analysis, PIRATE metric framework, Freemium pricing model, etc. They used Jira to develop wireframes and product roadmap strategies.

The outcome is an impactful app named Campfire, a B2C and B2B virtual meeting platform aimed at improving productivity and reducing burnout. It offers several unique features such as automated tools to set agendas, show time-checks, take notes, delegate tasks, share meeting audio, etc. The app is powered with AI algorithms to analyse meeting productivity and integrate all the meetings set on various apps under a common platform within the Campfire app.
