Magento 2 Product

Magento 2 help us to run our store, and it is versatile with numerous types of products.

TypesCreate

By default, Magento 2 supports six product kinds. These are:

Simple Product

A simple product without selected variations is a tangible object.   Magento 2 defines a simple product by its name, which means that this product is sold separately or as part of configurable products, bundled products, or grouped items. Simple products have a price variety.

Configurable product

Configurable products, rather than simple items, are a bit complicated. The items configurable represent a mixture of a simple product and extra alternatives like size, colour, materials, etc. Each choice has a separate SKU, enabling the store admin to track each variation in the inventory.

Product grouped

A Grouped Product represents a grouping of various simple items or virtual products. They share or relate to one other with the same features and are all shown on a single page. Grouped products do not have any prices; only their products for children are priced. These goods can be bought singly or as a group, for example, spoon sets of different sizes.

Virtual products

Virtual products are not physically present. You do not have to ship, download or deliver. They look a lot like simple products, but they have no selection of weight. Not tangible are virtual products. It is usually used for things such as affiliation, subscriptions, and guarantees. In combination with bundled items, virtual products can work.

 Product bundled

Custom products, consisting of several simple products or virtual products, are bundled items. Bundled products represent a bundle of simple products which cannot be sold separately. The customer can "make their own" using a bundle of choices. Customers can use all available options to shape the product.

Downloadable Product

These can be downloaded, such as e-books, software, videos, data, etc. Only after the download customers can use these products. They can only see the trailer, a sample for testing, before downloading. The files may be on your server or sent to any other server as URLs.
